Welcome
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Whether you are new to church, new to Kingman, or simply looking for a place to belong, you are welcome at The Kingman Church of the Nazarene. Come as you are. You do not need to know the songs, have the right words, or figure everything out before you walk in.
Love. Live. Lead. That is the heart of this church family: know Jesus, grow in faith, and live it out together in everyday life.

When and where
Sunday morning has two parts.
Children’s Sunday School and Adult Bible Study both start at 9:30 a.m.
Worship starts at 10:45 a.m. and usually lasts about 90 minutes.
Coffee and snacks are out before Bible study and again before worship, so there is time to grab a cup and say hello when you arrive.

You can come for the 9:30 classes, come just for worship, or stay for both. If it is your first time, arriving a few minutes early gives you time to find a seat, meet someone at the door, and settle in.

What to wear
Come as you are. Some people dress up. Most do not. Jeans, shorts in warm weather, and everyday clothes are all fine. Nobody is checking what you wore.
When you arrive
You will be greeted at the door. Tell us it is your first time if you would like help finding a seat, the restrooms, Children’s Sunday School, Adult Bible Study, or where children go during worship. You are free to sit wherever you are comfortable. Nobody will put you on the spot or ask you to stand and introduce yourself.
A simple bulletin or handout will point you through the morning. If you get turned around, ask anyone. We would rather help you than leave you guessing.

9:30 classes
Children’s Sunday School is a safe, joyful class where kids learn about Jesus and make friends. Adult Bible Study is a smaller setting than the worship service, a chance to open Scripture, ask questions, and get to know a few people. You are welcome to visit. Coffee and snacks are available before either one starts.
What the worship service is like
Worship at 10:45 is straightforward and easy to follow, even if you have not been in church for a long time, or ever. The morning opens with a warm welcome, then a good mix of contemporary and traditional music led by our worship team, along with prayer. Pastor Toni brings a life-lesson sermon most Sundays, a meaningful message you can relate to. We are also blessed to have Pastor Mike and Pastor Phil help with the sermons. Near the close of the service there is usually a quiet time to respond in prayer.
You do not have to sing if you would rather listen. You do not have to give. Offering is part of the service for those who want to participate. Visitors are our guests. You may meet one of the pastors on a Sunday, or reach the pastoral team during the week.

Kids and students
There is a place for every age. Children in 1st through 6th grade have Sunday School at 9:30 and a safe place to learn about Jesus during worship. Students have a place to belong, ask questions, and grow in faith. If you are bringing kids, let a greeter know when you arrive, and they will walk you through where to go.
After the service
People usually stay and talk for a few minutes. You are welcome to slip out, or to stay and meet someone. If you want prayer, a next step, or just a name to remember, say so. Small groups, kids and youth ministries, and serving teams are the usual ways people get connected after a first Sunday. There is no pressure to sign up for anything on day one.
If you cannot come in person
Sunday worship is streamed live at 10:45 a.m. on the Kingman Nazarene YouTube channel. Watching online is a real way to be with us. When you are ready to visit in person, the door is open.
From the moment you arrive, our hope is that you feel seen, welcomed, and free to take the next step — or simply to sit and see if this is a place you can call home.
